שי זלמן   Shay Zelman 

Shay Zelman is one of Israel's most prominent jazz drummers.  He has played and recorded with many of the leading names in the jazz world. Leading his own groups and as a side man, Shay has performed in all major jazz venues in Israel and abroad. As a producer he initiated a successful tradition of international collaborations between renowned international artists and local Israeli musicians. Shay  was one of the founders of the Caesarea Jazz Festival. He has been a major figure in the development of the jazz scene in Israel, and when not on the road or in rehearsal, Shay is most likely in class teaching the next generation of jazz players. He lives in Tel Aviv with his wife and three children.
